Bex, trust me he quiet enjoys it. The clothes are very comfortable too. The texture is very soft and it doesn't hurt him at all. We dont make him wear it all the time. Only at special occations and not more than 15min the most. :~). We love him very much and we wouldn't do anything to hurt him or make him feel uncomfortable. :~) You have nothing to worry about. He still popcorns around with the clothes on.
